Mia Asano San Diego Concert reviews
One on One delivers!
"Mia Asano, energetic for someone amazing age. The band also provided a really tight performance, giving new life by giving more attention to a nuance glossed over in the studio recording and sometimes keeping to the essence of the older material.
Mia also shared bits of her career history, which helped to create more of a connection for me at least, was a major asset, especially for those of us in the back rows. The video screens were clearer than I expected for this venue's acoustics. Be advised though that the Live and Let Died performance is LOUD - you may want ear plugs for that.
Moments when Mia took time to connect directly with the audience about their signs, and on this occasion, brought a couple out of the audience and married them at their request - right there on stage in front of everyone, there were. And then well thought out and well done was the encore."
